These terms apply to anyone who creates an account on or uses the Chaudhary Samaj app. Chaudhary Samaj is operated by Kush Vijay Chaudhary, an individual proprietor based in Bhavnagar, Gujarat, India ("we", "us"). By ticking the box at signup and creating an account, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
In short: subscriptions are non-refundable once purchased, except where Google Play's refund policy or the law requires a refund; you agree that your mobile number and profile details may be shared with other members of the app; you agree that we are not responsible for a data breach or leak caused by third-party providers, other members, or events outside our control; and you alone are responsible for your dealings with other members — we are not responsible for any fraud, scam or loss caused by another member. Always prefer profiles with the Verified badge, talk to them and their family, and never blindly trust an unverified profile — or even a verified one, because someone may misuse another person's Aadhaar. Using someone else's Aadhaar is a crime.
Chaudhary Samaj is a community and matrimony service, and it only works if members can see each other. By creating an account you agree that your mobile number and the personal details on your profile — such as your name, photographs, age, location, education, occupation, family details, religious and horoscope details, and anything else you add — may be shared with and seen by other members of the app.
Your number is shared unless you switch sharing off in the app's settings. Hiding your number is a feature of selected subscription plans; if the plan that allows it ends, your number is shared again as you agreed at signup. Some plans also let members see contact numbers before a match. You can edit or remove any detail on your profile at any time. Details already seen by another member cannot be recalled from them. What we collect and how we protect it is set out in the Privacy Policy.
You agree not to:
You can report a member or unmatch them from inside any conversation. We review reports and may act on them without notice.
We may suspend or delete an account that breaks these terms, that we reasonably believe is fake or unsafe, or where the law requires it. If an account is removed for breaking these terms, no refund is due for any subscription on it.
You can delete your own account at any time from inside the app, or as described on our account deletion page.
We provide a platform for members of the community to find and contact each other. We do not arrange marriages, and we do not guarantee a match. We do not verify every detail a member enters, and we are not responsible for what members say or do, inside or outside the app.
What the Verified badge means. A member with the Verified badge scanned the QR code on an Aadhaar, UIDAI's digital signature on it was valid, and the name, date of birth and gender on it matched the profile (or our team approved a small difference). That is all it means. It does not confirm the member's character, intentions, marital status, income, job, family, caste or anything else they have written, and it does not mean we recommend them.
A badge can be obtained dishonestly. Someone may scan an Aadhaar belonging to another person — a relative, or someone whose card they have copied. We cannot detect every such case. So do not trust any profile blindly, verified or not: talk to the person and their family, check that the person you meet is the person on the profile, and meet in person with family before any commitment.
Misusing someone else's Aadhaar is a criminal offence. Using another person's Aadhaar or identity to verify a profile is identity theft and cheating by personation, punishable under Indian law, including sections 66C and 66D of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. If we find or are told of it, we will remove the account without refund and share what we hold with the police when the law requires. The person who misused the Aadhaar, not us, is responsible for the consequences.
You are responsible for your own decisions. Every member uses the app and deals with other members at their own risk and on their own judgement. Before trusting anyone or sharing anything personal, you must:
If you suspect fraud, report the member from their profile, and report the crime to the police, on the national cybercrime helpline 1930, or at cybercrime.gov.in. We will cooperate with law enforcement as the law requires.
The app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app, or from the conduct of other members.
Fraud and scams by members. To the extent the law allows, we and the operator are not liable for any fraud, scam, cheating, false promise of marriage, misrepresentation, extortion, financial loss or other harm caused by another member, whether or not that member was verified, and whether it happens inside or outside the app. Any such claim lies against the member who caused it. You agree to indemnify us against any claim, cost or loss arising from your own breach of these terms or your own conduct towards other members.
Your data is stored and processed by third-party providers, as listed in the Privacy Policy. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any data breach, leak, loss or unauthorised access caused by those providers, by other members, by your own sharing of your password or device, or by any event beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be excluded under Indian law.
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top of this page, and tell you in the app if a change is significant. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the courts at Bhavnagar, Gujarat.
