This policy explains what the Chaudhary Samaj app collects, why, and what you can do about it. Chaudhary Samaj is operated by Kush Vijay Chaudhary, an individual proprietor based in Bhavnagar, Gujarat, India.

By creating an account you agree that: (1) subscriptions are non-refundable once purchased; and (2) your data is held by third-party providers we do not control, and we are not responsible for a data breach or leak caused by those providers, by other members, or by anything outside our reasonable control. Both are explained in sections 6 and 10 below.

Only your name, email, mobile number and password are required to create an account. Every other field is optional — a profile with fewer details simply appears in fewer searches.
Subscriptions are billed through Google Play. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details — Google handles the payment and tells us only whether your subscription is active, and when it expires. We keep a record of your subscription status, plan and expiry date so the app knows what to unlock.
You can choose to verify your profile by scanning the Secure QR code on your Aadhaar card, e-Aadhaar or the mAadhaar app. This is Aadhaar offline verification, done only with your consent. We check UIDAI's digital signature on the QR and compare the name, date of birth and gender in it with your profile.
We keep only: the result (verified, under review or not approved), the name, date of birth and gender from the QR, the last four digits of your Aadhaar number, and a one-way code that stops the same Aadhaar verifying a second account. We never receive or store your full Aadhaar number, and we do not keep your address, your Aadhaar photograph or the QR code itself. Other members see only a "Verified" badge on your profile, never these details.
Caste, sub-caste, religion and horoscope details are sensitive personal information. We collect them only because they are how matches are made in a community matrimony service, and only when you choose to enter them. You can leave any of these blank, edit them at any time, or delete your account entirely.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
Your profile is visible to other signed-in members of Chaudhary Samaj. If you verified your email or Aadhaar, they also see that you are verified, never your Aadhaar details. It is not visible to the public internet and is not indexed by search engines.
Members without a paid subscription can view a limited number of profiles; the rest are hidden from them entirely, including your name and photograph.
When you create an account you agree that your mobile number and the personal details on your profile — such as your name, photographs, age, location, family details and anything else you add — may be shared with other members of the app. Your number is shared unless you switch sharing off in the app's settings, which is available on selected subscription plans. Some plans let members see contact numbers before a match; others only after an interest is accepted on both sides.
Profile photographs are served from a content URL. Anyone who has that exact URL can open the image, so please do not upload a photograph you would not want seen outside the app.
We use a small number of service providers to run the app. They process data on our instructions only.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to protect the safety of our members.
Paid subscriptions are bought through Google Play. By buying a subscription you agree that it is non-refundable — we do not give refunds for any reason, including an unused part of a period, a change of mind, not finding a match, or an account removed for breaking our Terms. The only exception is where Google Play's own refund policy or applicable law requires a refund; any such request is handled by Google. You can cancel renewal at any time from Google Play; the plan stays active until the end of the period already paid for.
Your information is stored outside India — the database and photographs are held in Japan, and the application runs in the United States. By using Chaudhary Samaj you agree to this transfer. We choose providers that offer appropriate safeguards for data in transit and at rest.

Connections to the app are encrypted with HTTPS. Passwords are stored as salted hashes and never in readable form. Sign-in sessions use signed tokens that expire. Access to profile details is checked on the server for every request, not only hidden in the app.
No service can promise perfect security, but we take these measures seriously and fix problems when we find them.
Data held by others is not in our hands. Your data is stored and processed by the third-party providers listed in section 5 (such as Supabase, Render, Brevo and Google), on their systems and under their security. By using the app you agree that, to the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible or liable for any data breach, leak, loss or unauthorised access that:
If we become aware of a breach affecting your data, we will inform you and the authorities where the law requires us to. Nothing in this policy removes any right you have under Indian law that cannot be excluded.
Chaudhary Samaj is a matrimonial service and is not for children. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, and at least the legal age of marriage in India to use it for its intended purpose. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we will remove it.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page, and tell you in the app if the change is significant.
